The difference between wood plastic and anti-corrosion wood

1、 The loss of plastic wood profiles is lower than that of anti-corrosion wood

Under the same construction area and volume conditions, plastic wood has less loss than anti-corrosion wood. Because plastic wood is a profile material, it can be produced with the required length, width, and thickness according to the actual size requirements of different indoor and outdoor projects. The length of anti-corrosion wood is specified, generally 2 meters, 3 meters, and 4 meters.

2、 Plastic wood can win with less under the same construction conditions

For example, when laying outdoor flooring using wood, a thickness of about 45mm is required. Plastic wood, on the other hand, only requires a magnetic force of 25mm thickness, and its strength exceeds that of 45mm anti-corrosion wood. In other words, if 1 cubic meter of wood is used, then plastic wood only needs about 0.5 cubic meters.

3、 Plastic wood is a type of profile with many hollow specifications.

We all know that aluminum alloy doors and windows can be promoted and popularized so quickly because they are hollow profiles. If they are solid, the price will be unbelievably high. Plastic wood hollow saves some, although not as high as aluminum alloy, it is still relatively objective. Everyone knows that hollowing not only reduces weight but also increases strength. Plastic wood can be made hollow, while anti-corrosion wood cannot.

4、 Plastic wood surface does not require painting treatment

Generally, after the construction of anti-corrosion wood or during the construction process, the surface of the wood should be painted or coated with water-based paint.

5、 Plastic wood products can be maintenance free

Preservative wood generally requires maintenance or painting within one year due to environmental temperature, humidity, and exposure to ultraviolet radiation from the sun. In the long run, the maintenance cost of plastic wood is much lower than that of anti-corrosion wood products.

6、 Plastic wood has a long service life

Plastic wood does not require secondary maintenance like anti-corrosion wood, and its service life is better than anti-corrosion wood.

7、 Wood plastic products can be updated and replaced

The dismantled wood plastic can still be recycled and reused, reducing resource consumption, in line with environmental protection concepts, low-carbon and economical.
